As I’m sure you are all aware, there was a hurricane this past weekend. Well, sort of a hurricane….technically it was a tropical storm. Everyone seems to think it was overhyped. I’m not sure I would DISAGREE with that statement, but I also absolutely will not say that it wasn’t a big deal. I went home to Vermont to avoid the worst of it, and the irony is not lost on me that Vermont was hit much harder than Boston.
So without further ado, this is what the road my family lives on looks like right now:

Majorly lusting after these beauties:
Shoes: Karen Elson for Nine West $149
Everything about these shoes just screams “Please put me on!!” Where do I even begin? The trendy yet comfortable wedge? The GORGEOUS deep wine color? The luxe crushed velvet? I absolutely adore them! I can’t wait to wear them now with a floaty skirt, or with tights once the weather begins to cool. Hello grad school wardrobe staple!
Earlier today I happened to stumble upon this French site Les Composantes and fell INSTANTLY in love with at least three of their bags.
Does anyone know if these are available in the US?? I am literally prepared to torture and kill to get my hands on them!!
I know this is an old music video…but don’t you just want to LIVE in it?? This past weekend my boyfriend discovered that “Teenage Dream” has been played on my ipod a total of 107 times (don’t judge!!). He began to question my taste in music, and my only defense was to force him to sit down and watch the video. It’s like the summer road trip I’ve always, well, dreamed about! Sun, beaches, parties, convertibles, what is there not to love?? The end effect, or course, did not change his mind in the slightest, but did succeed in making me fall in love with it all over again.
